ARP Pro-Soloist Model 2701 Monophonic Analog Synthesizer Keyboard 1970s Serviced
Vintage 1970s ARP Pro-Soloist 2701 mono synth, fully serviced and in great working condition. This synth was ahead of its time and features assignable aftertouch for some of the most expressive lead tones you’ll find in a monosynth from this era. This model was used by numerous legends including Tony Banks of Genesis, Tangerine Dream, Gary Numan, Herbie Hancock, Patrick Moraz, Billy Preston, John Entwistle, Vangelis, Coldcut and others.
This one was modified (not by us) with green LEDs on the sliders and octave buttons, and it also has a nice embroidered rose attached just to the left of the volume slider (see photos). It has been fully serviced by a professional synth tech and everything is functioning as it should.
Shows cosmetic signs of use and age throughout, including a number that’s been scratched into the top as well as other scratches/dings/etc. throughout (see photos). In good shape overall for its age and ready for a happy new home! Feel free to reach out with any questions.
